Description In this large-scale mural, a baby painted turtle rises from the dark blue depths of the water to a peaceful and quietly energized light. The metaphor of rising can be interpreted by viewers in a number of different ways ranging from a growing conscious connection with nature and the environment to Hartford’s evolution as a rising city.
